Global Vision Technologies employs multi-layered security with a redundant network architecture designed to keep your data safe, secure and available 24 x 7. Our data protection methodologies include employing third generation firewalls, Secure Socket Layer technology and 24 hour a day monitoring to provide detection and protection from unauthorized access. The servers are physically isolated in locked and monitored, highly secure facilities. No one, except for the Global Vision Technologies network administrators of the server and system administrators of our hosting facility can physically access the server. Each access is logged and traceable. The web connection to the data is via a custom written cgi (common gateway interface) program that is the "link" between the data (stored in a standard SQL database) and the user. At no time is the data directly available to the web itself. The only method available to manipulate the customer data via the web is through the cgi, which requires a user ID and password setup by Global Vision Technologies. Further, no data access commands via the web overwrite data, they only add to the data, preserving all past revisions. This allows Global Vision Technologies to construct or reconstruct the dataset at any point in time. Servers are mirrored and the mirror is physically separated in a separate geographic location for constant back-up availability. Each hosting facility employs redundant internet connections as well as emergency power backup systems.

Global Vision Technologies established and maintains the GVTIconnect website as a service to the Internet community. This site has been designed as a tool to provide general information about OmniTrackPlus.
